Tonight, we continue our tributes to the great musical masters of the African diaspora, with an hour dedicated to the legacy of John Coltrane, the next hour to Otis Redding and the last two hours of kickin’ Afrobeat to the Black President, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. That begins tonight, Saturday 8 PM to Midnight.

Another night of music commemorating the legacies of a few of the musical masters of the African Diaspora. An hour of funk for Sly and another mostly acoustic set from throughout Africa for Baaba. We also were able to enjoy a reprise of the two hours of Afrobeat mixes for Fela following the show on Saturday. Tune in next week Saturday, 8-10 PM for tributes to Thelonious Monk and by popular demand, more Afrobeat!!!
