RE: Challenges and Recommendations

It has been almost one year since Valley Free Radio has been on the air, and in light of our collective experience and expertise, we make the following challenges and/or recommendations to the Board:
* Enforcement of the Mission Statement and the Program Policies (as they currently read)
o Address violations of the MS, PP and/or other station rules, i.e., drinking on premises, leaving the station in a total mess, etc. (…)
On August 7, 2005, Valley Free Radio “flipped the switch” and went live on the air amidst cheers from the local community and community radio buffs from around the country who were gathered for the weekend “barnraising” sponsored by the Prometheus Radio Project that helped get us up and running and the Grassroots Radio Conference happening simultaneously.
