Dear Fred Knittle, “Look at the stars, See how they shine for you…”. In honor of your passing on New Year’s day, I will be repeating a Young @ Heart interview with your peers. I am so sorry that you could not make it that day due to the lack of handicap access to our little basement studio, and I so regret (then and now) not having had that opportunity. You made Coldplay look good with your rendition of the song, Fix You. You made us all look good. Rest in Peace Fred. Gosh, how you rocked.

So, on Mo Radio this week, 8-9 AM Wednesday, January 7, at WXOJ-LP FM, streaming at www.valleyfreeradio.org, Mo will be repeating an interview with Jean Florio, John Larereo, and Diane Porcella from Young at Heart Chorus, which first aired on March 7, 2007. They were hilarious guests and it was a great show. That show can also be downloaded here. (scrolling down to almost the bottom is necessary. Look for the giant graphic of the Y@H poster).

Fred gets tributed at The Boston Globe Online here. Mo’s blog post about Fred is here.

Thanks Fred, and God bless.
