We’ll have Chris Matera, forest activist and author of the Clearcut Massachusetts blog in the studio with us. Chris has documented some little known clearcutting taking place on public land here in the Commonwealth. Also tonight, Obama Nation! Will the new prez’ protect the planet or will he cave to the corporados? (we can hope it’s the former, yes, we can!). We’ve been focusing on the communities health here lately with regard to the proposed expansion of the Northampton dump over the Barnes Aquifer and tonight we’ll be hearing from author/activist, Jeff Conant whose recent book “A Community Guide to Environmental Health” seems right up our alley. Whoa! D.O. telecommutes into the show from the hills of North Leverett; another Enviro Show first! Bad enough he burned up a shitload of fossil fuels coming in late from the Vineyard, he sure wasn’t gonna’ multiply his sins drivin’ that much further into Florence for half a show. O for an all-electric truck! (why not get Dad an all electric truck for father’s day!!).
