Show:

Not show I asked dude to put in auto. It is wrong show. Sorry. I had deleted that show from my file but it stayed on VFR drive. Don't want any more shows with expletes in them. Have to check it more closely. Steve.

well, it's almost 4pm on 11/28. I hope you get this comment... (I know it's hard to keep a web page current). I haven't heard your show, maybe, or I'm not aware of having done so. but I had a few minutes and turned on the radio at about 3:40 and you had the rant from Daniel Hepfner(?). You called it a lecture, and I suppose it may have started out as one.
I'm wondering who his target audience is. I don't think anyone would listen unless they already agreed with him, so I guess he's preaching the choir. And maybe that's okay. I agree with most of what he said, and it's sometimes nice to hear it on the airwaves, but... He was going on and on, repetitively, to try to MAKE us DO something. I just started feeling bad. Hadda turn the man off.
Am I doing what I can? I doubt it. Do I already feel guilty about it? Sure I do. Every once in a while I hear about stuff people are doing that makes sense to me, inspires me, challenges me to find something more that I can do to help repair this country and world. I didn't hear any of that from this guy. I sure hope he engages in more productive behavior than just yelling at people.
I wonder why you chose this guy to play for us. What were you hoping would be our response? Were you hoping that some mythical "undecided voter" would stumble upon 103.3 and find the scales suddenly removed from their eyes? I don't THINK so.
See, I'm a great example of how easy it is to just RANT. Is it doing you any good to read this? Sucks, I bet. And I'm actually sorry to be sending this. But it's cathartic... I think that's at the bottom of the Daniel guy's rant: catharsis.
I was in on wxoj on the the ground floor, volunteering before the startup. Now I just listen, send a check now and then. I look for truth that lifts me up. I don't think that I, personally, need more of the kind of truth that tears me down.
I still appreciate my radio station, and your show. I especially appreciate that this email is gonna travel (ultimately) less than a mile before it's read.
Thanks for your good work and your patience, in case you've read this far.
