7:03 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

It was discussed that we have accounts which are several months in arrears and which payment would greatly help us to continue to broadcast. Matt Dineen and Michele Marchese have offered to do personal outreach in an effort to happily create balance in this area.

7:10 NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE

Fidel will contact people to populate a nominations committee for the October election.

7:38 STREAMING RELIABILITY

We will be monitoring shows to assess the reliability of streaming. A report will be made at the September 17th General Membership Meeting.

7:45 ENFORCEMENT OF VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

We have been discussing this for ages and we will soon put a plan of action into place. All programmers are required to be on both listservs, read the minutes on the website attend 2 meeting for every 3 month period, and do 2 hours monthly of volunteer work. These are not new policies, they have simply not been assertively enforced. All programmers are made aware of these policies when they train for their shows.

We will:

Send out warnings
Follow said warnings with a phone call

Put notices in mailboxes
Put signs in the studio
Post about this on the announcement listserv

7:45 PM OCTOBER 1, 2008 LOCK CHANGE

On October 1 the lock will change. This date will not be moved. This is no joke, nor is it a disco. Between now and them there is plenty of time to contact your liaison and arrange to fulfill your volunteer end of the bargain and get the new code. Don’t be left out in the mold. To be discussedAGAIN at the September 17 GM at 7-9 PM at the MEF meeting room. Go. Attend. Hear. Be heard.

8:39 PM SO LONGs Were said.
