VFR Jobs for Fulfilling Work Requirements

As you know, VFR is finally getting around to making it possible and easy to help your all – volunteer station keep rolling AND fulfill your 2 hour-per-month work requirement. It’ll be fun!* The bad news here is that if you don’t get a job assignment and start logging your hours pretty soon, you’re going to suffer from anescalating series of indignities culminating in losing your show. I did not come up with this so please don’t shoot or flame me, the messenger.
Below you will find a list of jobs that need doing at VFR. Many of these jobs are so easy as to let you dothem DURING your show! Depending on who wants to do what, you may not get the job you want to do… But don’t worry! If you have a special need that doesn’t let you do a given job we will work something out.
Workers! In the past it has been hard to get people for the less glamorous jobs, which the same three people seem to end up doing. Please help your glorious station march into the shining future bearing aloft the brilliant banner of local media by considering taking the skankiest job possible!
VFR Studio Jobs:
Sweepers [We need four people, VFR should get swept once per week]
-This is pretty straightforward and most anyone can do it.
Mopper [We need one person, VFR should get mopped once per month]
-The VFR Mopper must understand our strict prohibition against using cleaners that will render the space literally unusable for people with multiple chemical sensitivities. The Mopper should coordinate the use of any cleaning materials, even ostensibly groovy ones, with VFR’s chemical sensitivities people.
Duster [We need one person, VFR should get dusted once per week]
-Dust off the many horizontal non-floor surfaces of our glorious station
Computer / Audio Equipment Vacuumer [We need one person, Electronics should get vacuumed twice per month]
-This involves carefully cleaning around all of our electronic gadgets where dust bunnies otherwise pile up, befouling our hard-begged equipment.
Organizer [We need two people, studio should get organized once per week but this should take less than an hour each time]
-The organizer goes around and tidies everything up. This also means they manage the Lost and Found box, and make sure that important things get back to their owners.
EXCITING STATUS UPDATE! Sienna is doing this so we only need one more person.
Mail Box Manager [We need one person, as studio managers seem to do this anyway, but this could just be a 'fail safe' person who makes sure the process is working]

Trash/Recycling [We need 2 more people, trash should go out twice per week]
EXCITING STATUS UPDATE! D.O. from the Enviro Show is doing this once every other week.. we could probably use another two people to do this.
Stray CD / Lost and Found Box Manager [We need one person, this could happen once per week or less]

Voice Mail Checkers [2, should happen twice per week]
-Must know everything and everyone at VFR.
EXCITING STATUS UPDATE! Eric does this but could use help. With the phone, that is.
PSA makers [We need three more people, if people make 2-3 PSA per month]
-Requires computer skills and commitment to getting more.
