It was a dark and stormy night when Glen bailed out mid-show leaving D.O. lashed to the helm for his very first solo. Very scary and not without a slip-up or two. It won’t happen again.
Sooo, if you caught the show (or the news) you may have heard that Obama is backsliding on offshore oil drilling. This is not good. Right now, however, IS a good time to go to this site and urge Obama to reconsider. Offshore oil drilling is not only NOT the answer to high gas prices, it happens to be an environmental disaster in the making. On the other hand, if you happen to be a big fan of Cape Wind, maybe you’d like to see some oil drilling platforms out there on Horseshoe Shoals in Nantucket Sound along with yur’ monstrous industrial wind plants! In any case, what ever happened to energy CONSERVATION??
Enough. Next time (August 19) we’ll be all over the proposed Northampton Dump expansion. Someone (or ones) from Citizens United for a Healthy Future will be joining us and we’ll open up the phone lines to hear from YOU. Until then, remember: listen to your Mother!
