I) Scheduling
A. New Shows
1)Jay Chase has been given a late night Rock slot 11pm-1am Thursday into Fri am. Eddie
will contact him and let him know that he needs to do his sit-ins and volunteer hours.
2)Genevieve Belleveau was given the Weds 2-4pm slot and will start next week (4/16/08)
3)Richard Mooney was approved to have a music Show entitled My Left Drawer Sunday Mornings
at 7-8am (Richard later decided he didn’t have time to do this new show)
4)Dave Kopacz was approved to begin programing Red Pill Politics Sat 3-4pm starting May
3rd. Dave would like to work on fundraising to fulfill his volunteer commitment. Dave
will be taking the slot formerly filled by the Politics Forum, who are no longer
programming with us.
5)Luke Kopacz was approved to begin programming Wolfgang’s Rock Buffet during the time
4-5pm Sat slot to preserve that slot as Youth programming. Luke will also begin
programming May 3rd. Luke and his brother David Jr are technically minded and would like
to help out with tech support.
6)Jay Wolf was approved to return to Sat midnight into Sunday 4am. (later when Jay was
approached about the mic tax that he didn’t pay last time he was a programmer-he decided
that he didn’t have time to program a show and withdrew his proposal for return)
7)Butch Bouchard entered a proposal of a show that he intended to produce with Walter and
Leila. The show would be a re-airing of local produced music shows for a local cable
company. Leila had some concerns that Walter wouldn’t be able to produce the material
for the show in a timely manner. The Programming Committee asked for the proposal to be
tabled until Walter could come to a meeting and make a commitment to producing the show.
Butch withdrew the proposal.
B. Moving
1)Steve Cutting has moved his show to Tues 2-4pm and hopes to play a fair amount of World
Music as well as speak about local news/political events.
II) Balancing our Music programming
A. Megha did a little math and discovered that we have over 20 hours of Rock programming, 8
hours of Reggae, 4 hours of Blues/Jazz and 1 hour of Classical Music!! That means NO
Hip-Hop! NO World Music! NO Soul! NO Noise/Experimental! WOW!! In the time being there is
a HOLD put on all new Rock shows and freeze all open/opening slots to be sure that our
Music Programing is diversified.
III)FCC Violations-Suspensions
A. Jesse Molina had a couple of “choice words” in a couple of songs played last show. Keely
called and spoke with Jesse who apologized and explained that their were guests in the
studio and that the music was “thrown on” as off air discussions continued. A verbal
warning was delivered and accompanied by a written notice that the second offense would
result in a 30 day suspension.
B. Mike Dumont played several expletives during his previous show. Keely called and left a
verbal warning on his voice mail as well as warning him about his poor attendance. Mike
was told that a second offense of bad language, tardiness or No Shows would result in a
30 days suspension. (Mike did not show up for his show April 12th, He was notified that
e was hereby suspended and would need to contact the programming committee if he intends
on returning to program after 30days)
