In Attendance: Board Members: Mo Ringey, Bushi Harvey, Matt Dineen, Tony Shannon, Tony Udell. Non-Board Members: Bob Gardner, Bill Weye, Nick Curley, Dana Prescott, Joshua Vrysen
-Committee Updates
–Programming Committee
Meeting scheduled for 2/21/08. The Committee will review programming proposals and is still working on revising the schedule.
–Operations Committee
The Operations Committee will be meeting again next week via Skype and is creating lists of all available jobs in each committee and trying to match them with willing people in an effort to increase mandatory volunteerism.
-Fundraising Committee
Working on creating a printed version of the programming schedule to hand out.
-Programming Committee progress
Fidel Hidalgo has volunteered to be the Volunteer Coordinator. It was suggested that specific tasks be assigned to Studio managers and others.
-Collective Updates
Music collective met last week, other collectives are currently scheduling meetings.
-Underwriting Update
Matt Dineen has met with Collective Copies and Food For Thought Books and will be continuing to meet with them regarding underwriting possibilities. The Fundraising Committee will be meeting with the Programming and Dundraising Committees to discuss underwriting possibilities and policies.
-Revised website policies
The assembly voted to approve the revised website policy.
-New LP-FM Rules
New rules will be posted this week on the VFR listserv.
-Democracy Now!/FSRN schedule
It is proposed to run democracy Now from 5-6 pm and FSRN at 6 pm. To be discussed further at the 2/21/08 programming Committee meeting.
-Board meeting attendance policy
A policy proposal drafted by Bill Weye will be put to the board at the next meeting.
