With the election less than a month away, the first of two 2-hour specials includes:
–Overview of House and Senate seats up for reelection, gubernatorial elections, and notable races within all three.
–The effect of the Congressman Mark Foley scandal, and the possibility of Ted Kennedy’s Chappaquiddick incident being brought into the race by Republicans.

–Professor Arthur Brooks from Syracuse University discusses his article “The Fertility Gap,” which suggests that conservatives having more children than liberals will eventually make it difficult for Democrats to win elections.
–Northampton, Massachusetts Mayor Clare Higgins discusses the importance of voting in local elections, how the media have affect elections more and more in recent years, as well the upcoming November election.
–A discussion of what it’s like to schedule interview with candidates as we get closer and closer to election day.
–We go to the streets to talk to likely voters and see what they actually know about politics and current events in the US.
–Christy Mihos, candidate for Governor of Massachusetts, discusses his platform and politics in general, and we follow up with him at a recent debate in Springfield, Massachusetts.
