VFR Joins Save the Internet Coalition
Valley Free Radio has joined the Save The Internet Coalition. This broad, non-partisan group represents grassroots organizations, non-profits, and businesses alike who demand protection fir and the existence of a free and open Internet.
The Senate Commerce Committee is voting any day now on the Telecom Act (S. 2686). Please call your senators immediately and tell them to support the Snowe-Dorgan amendment that would protect net neutrality.
Another important amendment to this bill proposed by Senator John McCain would protect LPFMs and open up hundreds, potentially thousands, of new frequencies for community use. Tell your senator to support the McCain amendment, too!
