Update on S. 2686 – Victory for LPFMs!

Two important developments today in the Senate Commerce Committee mark-up of the huge telecommunications bill S.2686…

  • The McCain amendment to expand LPFM radio passed! You can read the amendment here.
  • The Snowe-Dorgan amendment that would protect net neutrality tied, falling one vote short of passing. Now the debate will move to the full Senate floor. The fight’s not over yet, so if you haven’t contacted your Senators do it now!
